DR. EVERETT HERINGER: The real advantage of an all-porcelain crown it eliminates a lot of disharmony and also a lot of staining and darkness around the crown. Quite often people will have a crown, come to my office and have crowns done in another office. And they'll say they don't like the black line that's up near the gum line or they don't like the grayness around the crown. Well with an all-porcelain crown you can eliminate that because it's all porcelain. You don't have that metal base and metal sub structure.

So the all-porcelain crown offers just a wealth of beauty to the patients and they just love it when they're completed. They also can change them. They can do restorative orthodontics with an all-porcelain crown to where you can just create a beautiful smile with all-porcelain crowns.

In office also we offer the Da Vinci all-porcelain crowns. I really believe that Da Vinci technicians are trained by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. And again, as a cosmetic dentist who is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry I want to offer the patients the best that I can do.
